Screenings are composed of crushed limestone (1-5mm), and therefore packs very well and efficiently. Used as a levelling base for a number of landscaping projects such as interlocking & paving stones, water pipe bedding, pathways, and retaining walls.
This material is all fines less than 7 mm and is mostly used for a paving stone leveling course, horse tracks, recreational surfaces, driveway surfaces and pathway surfaces. Screenings can also be used as the fine aggregate for hot-mix asphalt.
